Matcha Green Tea Rice
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup, finely minced onion
2 tsp instant chicken boullion granules
3 cups cooked rice
1 10 oz. package frozen chopped broccoli, cooked
1 tsp vinegar
2 eggs, beaten
1-1/2 cup shredded velveeta cheese
1 tsp. Matcha green tea powder
Stir eggs, vinegar and Matcha until mixed well. preheat oven to 350 degrees spray a 1 quart casserole dish with non-stick
spray. In a large skillet, cook onion and bouillon in butter over medium heat until onion is transparent. Stir in cooked rice, cooked broccoli,
vinegar, Matcha and eggs. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese. Pour mixture into
prepared casserole dish. Bake 45 minutes or until browned and bubbly. Serves 6 - 8
Matcha Green Tea Shrimp Ramen Noodles
1 package Shrimp Flavor Ramen
3 Tbsp. oil
1 cup celery, finely chopped
1 cup green onions, finely chopped
1 cup chopped Shrimp
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/3 tsp. chopped ginger
1 1/4 cups boiling water
3 medium eggs
1 tsp. Matcha powder
Sauté celery, onions and shrimp in oil, adding the soy sauce and ginger. At the same time, begin preparing the Top Ramen noodles, but using only 1-1/4 cups of water. Cook noodles only 2-3 minutes.
Beat eggs with Matcha green tea powder until mixed well and set aside. Let sautéed mixture cool. Stir Top Ramen to break noodles. Drain excess liquid. Add sautéed mixture with liquid to noodles. Stir ingredients until well-coated. Add beaten egg with Matcha. Spoon mixture into hot pan to make 4" omlettes. Fry until golden brown. Serve with brown gravy. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Green Tea Pasta - Home Made
1 Tablespoon Matcha green tea powder
1 pound all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
5 large egg yolks
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Mix well the flour, salt and Matcha in a food processor.
With the machine running, add the eggs, egg yolks, and olive oil through the feed tube, about 2 minutes.
Make hand size balls of dough and roll out each dough ball into desired shape in a pasta machine according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Bring a pot of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta until just al dente, about 2 minutes. Drain in a colander and serve with desired sauce.
